ìDay 1: Nairobi – Amboseli National Park
Pick up at the airport or hotel and drive to Amboseli national park passing through the Athi Plains where formerly the Burchells zebra, the Maasai giraffe and smaller herbivores roamed about freely. With human encroachment the wildlife is confined to game parks. Arrive at the camp in time for lunch and afternoon game drive in the park at the foot of Africa’s highest mountain, Kilimanjaro (19,340 ft). In the late afternoon one is likely to see a lion or cheetah make a kill. Ideal photography opportunities with Mount Kilimanjaro highest mountain in Africa providing a beautiful back drop. Proceed to the area of Lake Amboseli, which is a wide salt pan, consisting of permanent swamps. This area has much game, large and small, high concentration of Elephant, rhino, buffalo, Burchell’s zebra, eland, Masai giraffe and small species of the antelope family, the common water buck, klipspringer, Grant’s gazelle, impala, topi, etc. Return to the camp for Dinner and Overnight.

Day 2: Amboseli National Park
Full day in Amboseli with game drives in the morning and afternoon to explore the park and have magnificent views of Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest peak in Africa. View large herds of elephants, renowned to be residents of this park. Amboseli is popular with breathtaking views of Kilimanjaro and reliably good elephant viewing. Nature lovers can explore five different habitats here ranging from the dried-up bed of Lake Amboseli, wetlands with sulphur springs, the savannah and woodlands. You can also visit the local Maasai community who live around the park and experience their authentic culture. Animals to be found here include the leopard, cheetah, wild dogs, buffalo, elephant, giraffe, zebra, lion, crocodile, mongoose, hyrax, dik- dik, lesser Kudu, and nocturnal porcupine. There is also a prolific birdlife featuring 600 species.

Day 3: Amboseli National Park – Lake Naivasha
After breakfast depart via Nairobi to Lake Naivasha, a freshwater lake located on the Great Rift Valley Floor. You will arrive in good time for lunch and siesta. You will then enjoy a scenic sunset boat cruise to see the hippos and walk on Crescent Island among wildlife, herbivores only. The waters of the lake draw a great range of game to these shores. Giraffes wander among the acacia, buffalo wallow in the swamps and colobus monkeys call from the treetops while the lake’s large hippo population sleeps the day out in the shallows. Set in one hundred and fifty acres of grassland studded with Acacia bushes and trees, the Sopa resort is home to resident giraffe, waterbuck and both Vervet and Colobus monkeys. It is also a night stop for the hippos when they leave the lake every night to come and trim the grass on the expansive lawns.

Day 4: Lake Naivasha – Lake Nakuru National Park
After breakfast, drive to Lake Nakuru national park to arrive for lunch and afternoon game drive in the park to enjoy the sight of pelicans bathing in the fresh water streams which terminate in Lake Nakuru. Lake Nakuru has a great variety of bird life which includes the Egyptian goose and a variety of ducks that come from Europe to winter. This park is truly a bird watchers paradise. The park is also a sanctuary for the white rhino among other wild game. Lake Nakuru is among Kenya’s finest national parks. Flanked by rocky escarpments, pockets of acacia forest and at least one waterfall, the park is gorgeous year-round and is home to both black and white rhinos, lions, leopards, hippos and endangered Rothschild giraffes. Rising water levels in 2014 forced the park’s famous flamingos to flee (although a small number had returned at the time of research) and the lake is now hauntingly surrounded by drowned trees. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Lake Nakuru National Park – Maasai Mara Game Reserve
After breakfast, check out and drive to Maasai mara via Narok town then enter the Maasai mara road and drive across the plains to the camp for lunch and afternoon game drive. Masai Mara National Reserve is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Africa. The reserve is located in the Great Rift Valley in primarily open grassland. Wildlife tends to be most concentrated on the reserve’s western escarpment. Masai Mara is regarded as the jewel of Kenya’s wildlife viewing areas. The annual wildebeest’s migration alone involves over 1.5 million animals arriving in July and departing in October.
There have been some 95 species of mammals, amphibians and reptiles and over 400 bird’s species recorded on the reserve. Nowhere in Africa is wildlife more abundant, and it is for this reason a visitor hardly misses to see the big five (buffalo, elephant, leopard, lion, and rhino) Return to the camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Masai Mara Game Reserve
After breakfast, full day game viewing in Maasai mara. Spend the whole day inside the park game viewing with picnic lunch. Maasai Mara Game Reserve offers wonderful scenery and plenty of game. It is perhaps the only region left in Kenya where a visitor may see animals in the same super abundance as existed a century ago. Explore this part of the Northern Serengeti Ecosystem where the great wildebeest migration takes place. The plain is literally covered with these animals. Grunts and other animal sounds are heard, and territorial fights are commonplace. The Mara is known as one of the finest wildlife destinations in the World. There is an excellent chance of seeing the Big 5, cheetah, serval, hyena, bat-eared foxes, black-backed and side-striped jackals, hippo, crocodile, baboons, warthog, topi, eland, Thompson’s gazelle, Grant’s gazelle, impala, waterbuck, oribi, reed-buck, zebra and many others. Afternoon optional visit to the Maasai village.

Day 7: Masai Mara – Nairobi – Departure
After breakfast, morning game viewing in Maasai mara with the chance to see the Big 5 and other wild game. Soak in the abundance of untamed wilderness, fresh and natural scenery, filled with exotic wildlife during our expertly guided morning game drives enjoyed in open roofed vehicle. Later drive back to Nairobi Via Lake Naivasha for an optional 1 Boat ride or a walk on the crescent Island or rather Biking or walking safari at Hells gate national park before you proceed to Nairobi arriving late in the evening. Drop off at your hotel or transfer to the airport for your flight back home.
